Lake LBJ is the middle lake in a chain of the five Highland
Lakes stretching from Lake Travis in Austin northwest some eighty five miles ending at Lake Buchanan. Because it is the middle
lake in this chain, its level remains constant meaning its depth never changes (observe that all the boat docks on Lake LBJ
are fixed). That means that Lake LBJ is perfect for all water activities (regardless of weather conditions) and that the
fishing is consistently great.
